You don't have to be a party member, a political junkie, or even a registered Libertarian. Pick whichever of these fits the time you have.

    Come to a meeting

    Show up on the second monday of every month at Casa Chapala Mexican Cuisine & Tequila Bar. Free, open to the public, no membership required. It is the fastest way to meet everyone.

    Stay in the loop

    Subscribe to the Austin Liberator for a weekly roundup of liberty-related goings on around Austin and beyond, and follow us on social media.

  3. 03

    Join the party

    Become a dues-paying member of the Libertarian Party of Texas. Membership supports the state and county affiliates and gives you a vote at conventions.

    Run for office

    Travis County needs Libertarians on the ballot. Candidates are nominated at our county and state conventions in the spring of even-numbered years.

    Volunteer

    Help with outreach, events, communications, candidate support, or community projects. If there is something you would like to do that you do not see, tell us.

Before anything else

Make sure you're registered to vote

Texas has a voter registration deadline 30 days before each election, and registration doesn't follow you when you move. Check your status and register through the Texas Secretary of State.
